Donny sent in a great "How To" series on mounting undermount sinks. Click on image to enlarge and browse with big black arrow.
Trace the sink and make V mark where you would like to place the anchor.
Use a #10 machine screw with a wing nut...the clips come with the sink...most of the time.
This is the least expensive, best anchoring method I have seen to date...way to go!
Use a grinder with a flush cut adapter. note...the guard was removed for demonstration purposes. We recommend leaving guards on the tools :-)
Cut the slots at a 10 degree angle. Make two opposite angle cuts in a narrow V pattern.
This is what StoneAdvice is all about!
Teaching others better ways to do things!
Hold the blade vertical at a 90 degree angle to clean the material from the center of the slot.
Note the V shape of the slot. This allows the screw head to slide in and lock at the narrow end.
Test the cut by sliding a screw into place to ensure a good fit
Four slots should hold that sink nicely!
Here you can see the clip and the screw in the slot.
(I had to write something here..gimme a break)
You can make a handy wing nut driver with a chunk of copper tubing or EMT. This tool come in handy on those deep bowl sinks in small cabinets.
How simple is that? NICE!

Donny, thanks for your outstanding contribution to the industry! If anyone else has a great idea to share...send it in already!!!
